The Lady Vols closed out its home portion of their regular season volleyball schedule with a victory over Alabama Friday.

Tennessee finished off a sweep of the Crimson Tide with a, 25-16, 25-12, 25-21, victory at Thompson-Boling Arena before an announced crowd of 1,243.

Breana Runnels sparked the Lady Vols (19-8, 11-6 SEC) with nine kills and 14 digs against Alabama (10-18, 2-14 SEC).

Danielle Mahaffey had nine kills and six blocks in the match. Ava Bell finished with seven blocks.

Raquel Perinar had nine digs and two aces for Tennessee, which closes out the 2021 regular season at Missouri Wednesday at 8 p.m. EST.

Natalie Hayward was UT’s leading passer as she totaled 29 assists. She also recorded four kills.

Lily Felts finished with three assists and one ace, while Madison Bryant totaled 13 digs.
