Tennessee received the United States Marine Corps/American Volleyball Coaches Association Team Academic Award.

The award, initiated during the 1992-93 academic year, honors volleyball teams’ year-long grade point average of 3.30, on a four-point scale, or 4.10 on a five-point scale.

A total of 1,725 high school and collegiate teams earned the award this season.

The 2021-22 academic year marks the second consecutive year Tennessee has earned the award. The Lady Vols have won the award five times in program history.

Tennessee placed 10 student-athletes on the fall SEC honor roll and five players on the first-year SEC honor roll.

Tennessee’s Ava Bell, a graduate, was also named a CoSIDA Academic All-American by the College Sports Information Directors of America.
