Lady Panthers blank Chapel Hill 5-0 in noteworthy win

Jan. 24—NEW CHAPEL HILL — Bullard's 5-0 victory over Chapel Hill Tuesday made history as it was the first time that the Lady Panthers had defeated the Lady Bulldogs in New Chapel Hill.

"(This) was the first time in Bullard program history to ever beat Chapel Hill on their turf," Bullard head girl's soccer coach Tiffany Cooksey said. They overcame that Chapel Hill curse (Tuesday), keeping a shutout which hasn't ever been done before, and I'm super proud of them, especially since the weather was so wet."
