Lady Mustangs roll to Stringtown Tournament title

Jan. 10—STRINGTOWN — The Allen Lady Mustangs are affectionately known in these parts as the 'Salty Seven' because the team is only seven players strong.

They were super strong during a dominant run to the 2024 Stringtown Event Center Shootout championship over the weekend.

After hanging 108 points on Haileyville in the opener, Allen socked host Stringtown 84-38 in the semifinals and went on to hand Savana a 50-point loss, 86-36, in the championship game.
