The Nets announced that Kyrie Irving will be available to play on Thursday night against the Los Angeles Lakers after missing the previous game with lower back tightness.

Irving sat out during the Nets' 24-point comeback against the Phoenix Suns, as James Harden lead the way with 38 points.

In 20 games this year, Irving is averaging 28.3 points, 5.7 assists, and 4.6 rebounds per game. He scored a season-high 40 points in a win over the Sacramento Kings on Monday night, including making 9-of-11 three-point attempts.

In addition to the Nets announcing Irving's status for Thursday's game, they said that wing Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot is available to play after dealing with right knee soreness. The 25-year-old from France is having a solid year in Brooklyn, averaging 7.3 points over 19.7 minutes per game in 30 contests this season.

The Nets will look to make it five-straight wins when they face off against the defending champion Lakers and LeBron James.
