As many anticipated once he declared for the draft, Kyler Murray will be attending the NFL Scouting Combine later this month.

Murray has famously gone back and forth on his ultimate decision on his athletic future. The QB was drafted by the Oakland Athletics in the first round of the MLB Draft last summer, with the intention of playing one season of college football for Oklahoma.

Murray ended up winning the Heisman Trophy, proving himself worthy of pursuing an NFL career as well. Since declaring for the NFL Draft, it's seemed like his heart was with football, but he has emphatically claimed he's still interested in both sports.

This decision would seem to support the idea he prefers football, as he is supposed to report to Oakland's Spring Training on February 15, but the NFL Combine begins on February 26 and runs until March 4.

The questions surrounding Murray and which sport he'll end up playing are sure to continue in the coming weeks. If he sticks with the gridiron, he could present an opportunity for the Redskins to draft a new QB without having to give up draft picks to trade up.

This is just the latest in a long line of twists and turns in the Kyler Murray saga, and for the time being, it looks more and more likely that the Redskins will have to consider him as a viable option.
