Quote from Stremousov: "We were left without legislative power, so we created a public council that represents representatives of the people, and they will already make some interim decisions.

I think that this will most likely be a referendum that will be held on the territory of Kherson Oblast for self-determination of the Kherson Oblast."

Details: the representative of the occupation authorities did not specify when the "referendum" will be held. According to Stremousov, there is still "a lot of work" to do in this regard.

The next stage for the collaborators will be to hold illegal "elections".

Background:

At the end of April, collaborator Kirill Stremousov said that no referendums are planned in the region.

In early May, the so-called "authorities" of the Kherson Oblast appointed by the invaders said they would ask Russian President Vladimir Putin to include Kherson Oblast in the Russian Federation.
