Rutgers football is Bronx bound.
The Scarlet Knights will be playing Miami in the Pinstripe Bowl at Yankee Stadium on Dec. 28 (2:15 p.m., ESPN).
The USA TODAY Network-New Jersey will have full coverage of the lead-up to the game, including practices and events.
Here's what to know:
Season-ticket holders and R Fund members will receive first access to purchasing tickets from the Rutgers allotment, which will be given out in order of priority points. The deadline for priority access is Dec. 5 at 5 p.m.
The general public can also request access for the Rutgers allotment beginning immediately. Those tickets will be distributed following the requests of season-ticket holders and R Fund members.
The first 250 student season-ticket holders to make a claim will be offered a free ticket.
Tickets are also available at www.pinstripebowl.com, Ticketmaster and StubHub.
There are multiple parking lots and garages surrounding Yankee Stadium. The Yankees do not operate any of the lots.
Fans can take Metro-North to Yankee Stadium, while the No. 4 and D subway trains also have stops at the Stadium.
Rutgers and Miami have met 11 times previously, with the Hurricanes winning all of the meetings. They last played in 2003 at Miami, which the Hurricanes won 34-10.
The game will be televised nationally on ESPN. The game will also be livestreamed on FuboTV (free trial).
