Outlook: With lots of key returners, the Bulldogs will make a strong case to successfully defend their title.

Gov. Mifflin

Coach: Kyle Kuser, ninth season, 126-89.

Last year: 3-3, 18-10.

Key players: All-Berks second-team Jude Enriquez, All-Berks second-team Jacob Troy, Evan Bryne, Owen Ziolkowski, Griffin Sborz, Grant DeLoretta.

Outlook: The Mustangs will strive to build on last season's success and grow a young team into contenders.


Coach: Steve Stambaugh, 12th season, 114-119.

Last year: 5-3, 13-13.

Outlook: The Muhls will battle for a state playoff spot while developing as a team.

Reading High

Outlook: The Red Knights should improve their record from last year.

Outlook: With a plethora of returners and something to prove, the Mustangs have a strong junior class and the depth to challenge in the state playoffs.

Outlook: A young team that is aiming to learn and grow into a competitive program.
