The NBA announced on Tuesday that the first-round playoff series between the Knicks and Atlanta Hawks will begin on Sunday.

The time of Game 1 is still to be announced, as is the schedule for the remainder of the series, but the Knicks will host Games 1 and 2.

The Nets' series against either the Celtics or Wizards will start on Saturday.

Capacity at Madison Square Garden and Barclays Center will be increased for their home playoff games, as Gov. Andrew Cuomo recently announced lighter restrictions.

The Knicks will have fully-vaccinated sections, with fans sitting "shoulder to shoulder," said owner James Dolan.

Knicks playoff tickets will go on sale to season ticket holders on Tuesday, and to the general public on Wednesday, while Nets tickets went on sale on Tuesday.
