The New York Knicks want to show local firefighters how much they are appreciated. The team unveiled new jerseys as a tribute to New York firefighters Wednesday.

The uniforms are slightly darker shade of blue. Instead of “New York” on the front, the new jerseys contain a firefighters logo in orange. The logo features the words “Knicks” and “N.Y.C.” The players’ numbers sit in the center of the logo.

This won’t be a one-time thing, either. The Knicks plan to debut the jerseys Jan. 30, when they take on the Brooklyn Nets. After that, the club will wear those uniforms during six weekend home games.

The Knicks plan to sell the jerseys at Madison Square Garden and on their website. The team says proceeds will be donated to the “Uniformed Firefighters Association Widows and Children’s Fund, the NFFF and other charities affiliated with firefighters.”
