Look out Indiana, the Knicks are coming in hot to kick off the 2020-21 NBA season.

The Knicks will begin their new campaign under Tom Thibodeau on Dec. 23 against the Indiana Pacers, SNY's Ian Begley confirmed.

The news was first reported by Stefan Bondy of the New York Daily News.

It will be a good test for RJ Barrett, Mitchell Robinson and the rest of the Knicks squad as they take on Victor Oladipo, Domantas Sabonis, Myles Turner and the rest of the crew in Indiana.

The rest of the NBA schedule will be released at a later date, as teams around the country continue to work out at training camps ahead of preseason games, which begin on Dec. 11.

The Knicks will take on the Pistons in their first preseason contest.
