The Knicks announced that Julius Randle has entered health and safety protocols on Thursday.

The starting five just got back fully healthy, with RJ Barrett returning from the same list that Randle just went on. But that didn't last too long now that the scoring forward will have to miss some time.

The NBA, though, did change their COVID protocol, changing quarantine from 10 days to five based off new CDC guidelines. So Randle shouldn't be out as long as his teammates were.

With Randle out, Obi Toppin figures to get more playing time at the four spot on the court. Kevin Knox and Taj Gibson could as well.
