Knicks' Jalen Brunson wins Eastern Conference Player of the Week

Following a week where he averaged 27.3 points and 9.3 assists over four games, as the Knicks went 4-0, Jalen Brunson has been named the Eastern Conference Player of the Week.

After scoring 16 points and dishing 14 assists on Jan. 1 against the Timberwolves, Brunson erupted.

He had 31 points and 13 assists against the Bulls before notching 29 points against the 76ers and 33 points against the Wizards.

Brunson, in his second season with New York. is averaging 26.0 points and 6.4 assists in 36 games this season while shooting 47.2 percent from the floor.

The Knicks, at 21-15, are tied with the Magic and Cavaliers for the fourth-best record in the East.
