Knicks guard Immanuel Quickley will not return to Wednesday's game against the Indiana Pacers after leaving the game with a hip pointer.

The injury occurred while Quickley was in the paint, and Pacers C Myles Turner inadvertently hit his back. He immediately grabbed for it and was looked on by trainers.

The 25th overall pick of this year's NBA Draft played 12 minutes before leaving the game -- he went 1-for-3 from the field, dropping five points, while grabbing one board and dishing out one assist.

Quickley dropped 22 points in the Knicks' preseason finale against the Cleveland Cavaliers on Friday.
