Kjergaard, Kramer, Honaker headline River Valley All-Conference 1st Team

Feb. 29—Six Northeast Rebels and four Camanche Storm basketball players were honored as some of the best in the North Division of the River Valley Conference, making their All-Conference basketball teams.

Starting with the Rebels, junior guard Emma Kjergaard amassed 256 points, 100 rebounds, 59 assists, 36 steals and 10 blocks to make 1st Team All-Conference.

Another junior, Leah Mangelsen had a nice year, earning 2nd Team All-Conference. She led the team with 269 points, 149 rebounds, adding 51 assists and 40 steals.

Rounding out the Northeast girls with another junior, Cadence Driscoll earned an RVC All-Conference Honorable. She tallied 141 points, 120 rebounds, 28 assists and 20 steals.

Sticking with Northeast, Gavin Kramer was the heartbeat of the Rebels offense, earning him a 1st Team All-Conference appearance. Kramer had team-leading 381 points while grabbing 143 rebounds, 108 assists and 38 steals.

Senior Clayton Meyermann added the down low presence the Rebels needed, scoring 262 points and grabbing 130 rebounds. He earned 2nd Team All-Conference.

The last Rebel was an All-Conference Honorable Mention. Senior Jacob Tegeler had 219 points and led the team with 174 rebounds. He also added 29 assists.

Moving over to Camanche, they were headlined by senior Demarion Honaker who was a 1st Team All-Conference selection. He notched 296 points, grabbing 221 rebounds with 50 blocks.

Tyson Seeser, another junior, was an RVC All-Conference Honorable Mention after scoring 299 points with 41 assists, 39 steals and 24 blocks.

Finally, the Camanche girls had two All-Conference selections with Jeorgia Neumann being named on the 2nd Team and Izzy Beal being named an Honorable Mention.

Neumann had 139 total points with 73 assists, 64 steals and 86 rebounds. Beal led the team in points and rebounds in her senior campaign, scoring 157 points and grabbing 109 rebounds.
