Kirk Cousins reminisces about Nickelodeon

The Minnesota Vikings had plenty of reason to celebrate this week. Not only did they beat the Green Bay Packers by a score of 23-7, star wide receiver Justin Jefferson won the Nickelodeon NVP award.

After winning the award, head coach Kevin O’Connell got slimed in celebration after practice on Wednesday.

Heading into Monday night’s game against the Philadelphia Eagles, quarterback Kirk Cousins spoke to the media and the topic of Nickelodeon. Cousins wasted no time reminiscing about his favorite Nickelodeon memories.

Having been a 90’s kid, it’s no surprise that he liked the old school shows. Keenan and Kel, Rocko’s Modern Life and Angry Beavers were all excellent shows. He also mentioned Nick at Nite, which had slightly more adult shows with Full House being a staple for years. Cousins mentioned The Wonder Years and that was one of the original shows on Nick at Nite.

The funniest part of the interview was Cousins being all of us in saying that his teammates likely wouldn’t know any of the shows he mentioned.
