Marvin Bagley III's fractured left hand has healed, clearing him for basketball activities, the Kings announced Thursday morning.

Bagley sustained the injury in a March 15 loss to the Charlotte Hornets. He has missed the Kings' last 20 games.

A source confirmed to NBC Sports California's James Ham on Thursday that Bagley is targeting a return to play sometime next week. The Kings face the Warriors on Sunday, the Dallas Mavericks on Monday, Utah Jazz on Wednesday and the Los Angeles Lakers on Friday.

The Kings (24-35) enter Thursday as the No. 12 seed in the Western Conference. They are five games back of the No. 10 seed San Antonio Spurs for the play-in tournament.

Bagley, 22, has played in just 37 games this season. He has started every game he has played in, averaging a career-low 13.9 points and 7.3 rebounds per game.
