Khalil Mack was all smiles when he arrived at the podium for his introductory press conference on Sunday afternoon.
"It's an exciting time to be a Chicago Bear," the 27-year-old outside linebacker said donning a Bears polo.

Mack said he plans on getting straight to learning Vic Fangio's playbook after his press conference concludes.
"Just looking at the things he was able to do, it's very impressive," Mack said.
More importantly, Mack said he should be ready to go by Week 1 against the Green Bay Packers on Sunday Night Football. Head coach Matt Nagy also said the likelihood of him playing against the Packers is "hopefully pretty good."
That's great news, obviously, and he'll have to get used to seeing Aaron Rodgers twice a year. But he wouldn't have it any other way.
"That's exciting," Mack said. "You want to go against the best. I love to compete against the best."
