Kevin Millar somehow knew this clutch Trevor Story homer was coming originally appeared on NBC Sports Boston

When you've been around the game enough, you just have a sense for when a big moment is about to happen.

That's the case with former Red Sox first baseman Kevin Millar, who joined NESN's broadcast booth as an analyst for Boston's game against the Detroit Tigers at Fenway Park on Tuesday night.

With the Red Sox trailing 2-1 in the fourth inning and Trevor Story facing a 1-0 count with two runners on base, Millar's Spidey Sense started tingling.

"Might be a three-run Johnson coming, boys,” Millar told fellow broadcasters Dave O'Brien and Dennis Eckersley (audio via ESPN.com). "I don’t know what happened. It just kind of came in here."

Two pitches later, Story launched a Beau Brieske slider over the Green Monster seats. There's your three-run Johnson, Kevin.

"You had a notion!" O'Brien told Millar after his prediction came true.

Story's 11th home run of the season was the decisive stroke in Boston's 5-4 win over the Tigers. The Red Sox are now 15-4 in the month of June and sit just 0.5 games behind the second-place Toronto Blue Jays in the American League East.

Boston's schedule is about to get much tougher -- 33 of its next 37 games are against teams .500 or better -- but there's no shortage of good vibes around this club right now.
