Kentucky moved up to No. 46 in the latest NCAA RPI rankings, updated on Monday, after winning at Ole Miss and at Texas A&M.
The Wildcats were ranked No. 62 last week.
UK ranks behind three other SEC teams in the RPI rankings (Florida, No. 3; Missouri, No. 35; Ole Miss, No. 43).
UK is now 1-4 against teams ranked in the top 50 of the RPI (Louisville, Duke, Baylor, Notre Dame and Ole Miss) and 3-2 against teams ranked between 51-100 in the RPI (Texas A&M, Maryland, Tennessee, Alabama).
In the latest bracket projections, UK is listed as a No. 10 seed by ESPN and No. 11 by CBS.
The RPI takes winning percentage (weighted for road wins) and strength of schedule into account as the primary basis for its rankings.
