Day 3 of our look at the coaching carousel at Kentucky. We covered offensive coordinator on Wednesday and defensive coordinator on Thursday, so we're moving on to position coaches. Today, we'll look at the defensive line position.

2012 coach: David Turner (3rd season)

2013 coach: Jimmy Brumbaugh

Hire announced: Dec. 18, 2012

Where Brumbaugh came from: Defensive line coach, East Mississippi Community College

The Carousel: This one is pretty simple. Brumbaugh was defensive line coach at East Mississippi Community College in 2012, and it doesn't appear they've found a replacement yet.

Where Turner went: Hired at Mississippi State, Jan. 11, 2013 as defensive line coach.

The Carousel: Lots of SEC moves here. Turner replaced Chris Wilson, who had been defensive line coach in Starkville for three seasons. He was co-defensive coordinator in 2010 and was the Bulldogs' defensive coordinator in 2011 and 2012. Wilson went to Georgia, where he is now defensive line coach. He replaced Rodney Garner, who is now the associate head coach and defensive line coach at Auburn after spending 12 years in Athens. He succeeded Mike Pelton on the Plains; Pelton has moved on to Georgia Tech's defensive line job, while Andy McCollum will move from defensive line to linebackers. That moved Joe Speed from linebackers to secondary, while Charles Kelly, who had been defensive backs coach last year, has now moved on to Florida State as LBs coach. The Seminoles linebackers coach last season was Greg Hudson, who has since taken a job as DC at Purdue. Tim Tibesar had been defensive coordinator at Purdue last season and was let go when Danny Hope was fired. It doesn't look like Tibesar, who came from the CFL, has found a landing spot yet.
