Kentucky Derby post position draw, updated odds, full field; Epicenter, Taiba lead way

The draw for the $3 million, Grade 1 Kentucky Derby was held Monday afternoon at Churchill Downs.

Blue Grass winner Zandon, trained by Chad Brown, was named the 3-1 favorite in the morning line. Zandon drew the No. 10 post position in the field of 20.

Louisiana Derby winner Epicenter, trained by Steve Asmussen, is the second choice in the morning line at 7-2. He drew the No. 3 post.

The Kentucky Derby has an approximate post time of 6:57 p.m. Saturday and will be televised by NBC.

Rich Strike and Rattle N Roll are on the also-eligible list and can draw into the field if there's a scratch by 9 a.m. Friday.
