"During the investigation of a reported sexual assault in Manchester Hall, Kent State University received information about a possible second incident in Allyn Hall," the email states. "The incidents potentially involved an individual who was the guest of student residents on the Kent Campus."

The university asks anyone with information to contact Kent State Police at 330-672-3070.

The university said campus police patrol the ground by vehicle, as well as on foot and by bicycle 24 hours a day. There are also more than 30 blue light phones connecting to campus police in parking lots and along sidewalks. Students may also call 330-672-7004 for safety escort service.
