So here's what happened:

On Friday afternoon, Hawks guard Kent Bazemore posted the following message on Twitter:

In case you didn't know:

Bazemore and Curry were teammates with the Warriors in 2012-13 and 2013-14, and they remain very close to this day.

Game 6 of the Warriors-Rockets second-round NBA playoff series did not start well for Curry. And yours truly took to Twitter early in the first quarter:

Bazemore responded soon thereafter:

Bazemore doubles as a psychic in his spare time, because Curry scored all 33 of his points in the second half and took the game over down the stretch.

So the following tweet felt necessary:

And to close the loop:

[RELATEDCP3 kicked Curry off court night before Dubs-Rockets Game 6]

The moral of the story is don't doubt Kent Bazemore's hunches, especially when Steph Curry is involved.
