Kendrick Perkins calls for Jaylen Brown, Jayson Tatum to be broken up after Game 7 ECF loss

Is it time to break up star Boston Celtics wings Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown after their Game 7 flop vs. the Miami Heat in the 2023 East finals? Or is this an overreaction by ESPN broadcaster and former Celtics center Kendrick Perkins?

The 2008 titlist related postgame how Brown and Tatum were “horrible,” hinting that the time to be patient with the pair might be over. But looking back at historic greats at the same age as these two like Michael Jordan and LeBron James, and you will find a pair of players who had also yet failed to scale the mountain that is hanging an NBA banner.

Does Perk have a point? or is this yet another of his often-tiresome hot takes?

Take a look at the clip embedded above and decide for yourself how wise such a move would be at this juncture.
