After KC Chiefs’ 2022 schedule was released, Juan Thornhill circled these two games
Yes, there are 17 games on the Kansas City Chiefs’ 2022 schedule, and safety Juan Thornhill is looking forward to all of them.
But when the schedule was released last week, Thornhill’s eyes went to a pair of games.
Oct. 16 vs. Buffalo Bills
Dec. 4 at Cincinnati Bengals
As he told KSHB-TV’s Aaron Ladd on Friday, Thornhill is out for a bit of revenge.
“I got two that I’m really ready for and that might be Buffalo and then the Bengals,” Thornhill said. “Buffalo because I don’t like how they did our defense. They got to put up a lot of numbers, and I didn’t like that.
“And then with the Bengals, they beat us in the AFC Championship. We got to run that back.”

Here’s guessing the Bills players have that Chiefs game circled, too. The Chiefs beat the Bills 42-36 in overtime in an AFC Divisional playoff game, but Buffalo quarterback Josh Allen threw for 329 yards and four touchdowns.
Add in the Bills’ Week 5 win over the Chiefs and Allen completed 42 of 63 passes for 644 yards with seven TD throws and no interceptions in eight quarters at Arrowhead Stadium last season. He also rushed 22 times for 127 yards.
As for the Bengals, well, they beat the Chiefs twice in January, including a 27-24 overtime victory in the AFC Championship Game.
