Katy Perry Explains Why She’s Not Ready for a Second Baby With Orlando Bloom

Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom are putting plans to grow their family on pause while she completes her residency in Las Vegas (it runs through August, FYI!). Speaking to E! News, Katy explained, “I’m in Vegas, and I can’t do that show with anything in my belly, especially a human.”

Katy also noted that her daughter, Daisy, is busy reaching a million new milestones, saying, “She’s running, she says ‘I love you,’ she colors, she’s got pigtails.” Oh, and she also met the living legend known as Mickey Mouse and thought he was a cow, which I think we can all agree is another big milestone.

“[Daisy] saw Mickey and she thought Mickey was a cow, so she mooed at Mickey,” Katy said. “She went, ‘Moo, moo.’ And I was like, ‘That’s not the sound,’ but I don’t know what the sound is, actually. What is the sound that Mickey Mouse makes?”

Katy and Orlando welcomed Daisy in August 2020, and a few months later, Katy gushed about how happy she was to Jimmy Kimmel, saying, “It’s the best decision I’ve ever made in my entire life. He was such a great support. We had, like, a little boom box. He was there, and he was so wonderful and just holding my hand and looking into my eyes.” She added, “He’s been amazing, incredible, and we’re so in love and we’re so grateful.”
