Karmelo Clayborne voted District 18-4A Most Valuable Player

Mar. 9—Karmelo Clayborne, a Jacksonville High School senior, has capped off a phenomenal high school career by earning the District 18-4A Most Valuable Player award.

The accolade as well as the remainder of the all-conference lauds, were selected based on a vote of the league's head coaches.

Two Indians, juniors Isaiah Hamilton and Brady McCown, reeled in first team lauds for the Mark Alexander-coached Tribe.

Second team honorees from Jacksonville included junior Jayden Casel and senior Jayden Boyd.

Another Indian senior, Jermaine Taylor, was selected as a member of the honorable mention team.
