Justin Haley finished 13th in the Hooters 250 at Homestead-Miami Speedway on Saturday.
Haley’s result added 32 points to his season total.
Haley started in 10th position. The third-year driver has picked up seven top-five and 25 top-10 finishes in his career.
Haley made his career debut at Homestead-Miami Speedway in Saturday’s race.
The Winamac, Indiana native’s starting and finishing positions compared favorably to his career averages, starting four spots higher than his career mark of 14.3 and completing the race two places ahead of his 15.3 career average finish.
Haley’s 13th-place finish came against 37 other drivers. The race endured five cautions and 25 caution laps. Prior to the checkered flag there were 18 lead changes.
Harrison Burton earned the win in the race, and Austin Cindric followed in second. Noah Gragson placed third, Anthony Alfredo secured fourth, and Dale Earnhardt Jr closed out the top five.
After Ryan Sieg won the first stage, Gragson drove the No. 9 car to the win in Stage 2.
