Justin Haley finished third in the EchoPark 250 at Atlanta Motor Speedway on Saturday.
Haley’s top five finish added 46 points to his season total.
Haley started in fourth position and led eight laps in the race. The third-year driver has collected six top-five and 24 top-10 finishes in his career.
Haley made his career debut at Atlanta Motor Speedway in Saturday’s race.
The Winamac, Indiana native’s starting and finishing positions compared favorably to his career averages, starting 10 spots higher than his career mark of 14.1 and completing the race 13 places ahead of his 15.7 career average finish.
Haley’s third-place finish came against a field of 37 drivers. The race endured six cautions and 28 caution laps. Prior to the checkered flag there were 10 lead changes.
AJ Allmendinger brought home the win in the race, followed by Noah Gragson in second place. Behind Haley’s third-place finish, Daniel Hemric secured fourth, and Harrison Burton came in fifth.
Austin Cindric got off to a great start in the race, winning Stages 1 and 2, but couldn’t hang on to secure the race victory.
