The singer, married to the beautiful Hailey Baldwin Bieber, recently revealed that he was battling Lyme disease. The disease originates from the bite of an infectious tick, resulting in a rash. According to Wikipedia;

The rash is typically neither itchy nor painful.[1] Approximately 70–80% of infected people develop a rash.[1] Other early symptoms may include fever, headache and tiredness.[1] If untreated, symptoms may include loss of the ability to move one or both sides of the face, joint pains, severe headaches with neck stiffness, or heart palpitations, among others.[1] Months to years later, repeated episodes of joint pain and swelling may occur.

Months to years later, repeated episodes of joint pain and swelling may occur. Occasionally, people develop shooting pains or tingling in their arms and legs. Despite appropriate treatment, about 10 to 20% of people develop joint pains, memory problems, and tiredness for at least six months.

Pop Culture reports that Bieber informed his fans about his ailment in an upcoming series for YouTube titled Justin Bieber: Seasons, claiming that although the world may have suspected something was going on with his health he wasn't ready to reveal the true nature of the issue until now.

Justin Bieber is set to reveal a struggle with Lyme disease in his upcoming YouTube series, Justin Bieber: Seasons, TMZ reported Wednesday. The outlet reported that over the past few years, Bieber's "condition went undiagnosed" as doctors "struggled to figure out what was wrong with him, but couldn’t put their finger on it until late last year," and that the new series will feature the singer and those close to him discussing the "scary symptoms" he was struggling with privately.

Bieber hasn't always had the best image publicly, but he revealed the reasons as to why in an interview with Vogue early last year.

"It’s been so hard for me to trust people," he said of his early fame. "I’ve struggled with the feeling that people are using me or aren’t really there for me, and that writers are looking to get something out of me and then use it against me. One of the big things for me is trusting myself. I’ve made some bad decisions personally, and in relationships. Those mistakes have affected my confidence in my judgment."

He sites his wife Hailey as one of the only people he trusts, which is evident when taking one look at their relationship. Seasons premieres on YouTube Monday, January 27 at 12 PM. Catch the trailer below.
