It has emerged that only nine Manchester United players boarded the official team coach to the Lowry Hotel prior to Monday’s loss against Tottenham.
Captain Paul Pogba even reportedly turned up in his own chauffeur-driven Rolls-Royce.
United players traditionally travel to home matches from the luxury five-star hotel on a team coach, however the Mirror are reporting that only nine players boarded the coach from United’s Carrington training ground to the hotel amid reports there is unrest behind the scenes.

Only Victor Lindelof, Ander Herrera, Fred, Chris Smalling, Jesse Lingard, Scott McTominay, Romelu Lukaku, Marcus Rashford and David De Gea were reportedly on the coach.
Meanwhile, Alexis Sanchez, Juan Mata, Phil Jones, Nemanja Matic, Matteo Darmian, Marouane Fellaini and Antonio Valencia all joined Pogba in deciding to arrive separately by car.
The 3-0 loss at Old Trafford piled misery on the team and manager Jose Mourinho and will do nothing to dampen rumours that all is not well at Manchester United.
Despite it being the club’s worst start to a season since 1992, and Mourinho’s worst ever in his career, the Portuguese is still backed by United chief Ed Woodward to turn it around.
Mourinho will get his next chance to repay that faith when his side visit Burnley on Sunday.
