Julio Jones’ touchdown drought is definitely over.
The all-world Atlanta Falcons receiver inexplicably didn’t catch a touchdown over the first seven games of the season, despite putting up his usual gaudy numbers.
But he’s broken that unfortunate run.
Late in Sunday’s game against the Dallas Cowboys, Jones made an incredible, juggling, 34-yard touchdown catch that tied the game.
It was the third game in a row that Jones has recorded a touchdown, and the fifth straight game he’s topped 100 receiving yards, his seventh overall this season.
In 10 games, Jones has 73 receptions for a league-leading 1,158 yards.
Unfortunately for Atlanta, the Cowboys answered with a game-winning field-goal drive. It was the Falcons’ sixth loss of the season.
