Julian Edelman's hilarious post trolls Jets after win

The New England Patriots improved to 3-0 with their victory over the New York Jets in Week 3 of the NFL season. For the third straight week, they dominated almost all facets of the game and save for a couple of touchdowns off turnovers, were mostly mistake-free in their victory.

After the game, the Patriots were their usual active selves on social media. Tom Brady posted a video congratulating his teammates that featured his father and son. And Julian Edelman posted a hilarious illustration on social media platforms as well.

Here's a look at Edelman's handiwork this week from his official Twitter account.

This surely elicited a hearty chuckle from many Patriots fans who saw it. And the stereotypical airline thank you message text that Edelman posted with the picture made it that much better.

The Patriots' win over the Jets was sweet, but hopefully Edelman ends up being okay in the aftermath of it. The team's veteran-most receiver suffered a chest injury in the contest and didn't return to the game after suffering it. X-rays were negative, so hopefully, he just exited the contest as a precaution.

In limited action, Edelman posted a team-high seven catches for 62 yards and a touchdown. It was clear that Brady wanted to get him the ball early, especially after targeting Antonio Brown early and often last week.
