Julian Edelman’s reaction to Bill Belichick’s torn up sweatshirt is perfect

Bill Belichick’s fashion choices have lit up Twitter and media outlets over the past week.

The New England Patriots coach began with an odd face mask during the team’s Week 2 matchup against the Seattle Seahawks. The mask barely covered his face and it became more and more goofy as the game continued. There was a firestorm on Twitter and fans couldn’t get enough of his choice of mask.

Belichick continued this media firestorm on Wednesday after showing up to his press conference with a torn up sweatshirt. Fans and NFL writers couldn’t get enough of Belichick’s look, coming up with memes and clever jokes throughout the entire day.

Julian Edelman joined WEEI’s ‘The Greg Hill Show’ on Friday and made the perfect remark on the situation.

“The respect level goes up the roof for a guy just doesn’t care what he looks like,” he said. “He just cares about results and getting the job done.”

Six Super Bowl victories as the Patriots’ head coach and more accolades than you could imagine — yeah, his fashion choice his justifiable. Edelman backed that notion up, even though it’s just fun and games.
