Josh Allen opens with third-best 2021 MVP odds
Bills quarterback Josh Allen is a good bet in some early odds for next season’s NFL MVP award.
Via BetOnline’s opening odds for the 2021 MVP award, Allen’s 10/1 line only trails the Packers’ Aaron Rodgers (9/1) and Chiefs’ Patrick Mahomes (5/1), who is the favorite.
In 2020, Allen finished second in MVP voting. Rodgers ran away with the honor, but Allen did edge out Mahomes, who finished in third.

Of all early candidates given odds, Titans running back Derrick Henry is the first non-QB to appear at 40/1. A few other running backs, such as the Panthers’ Christian McCaffrey (50/1) and Saints’ Alvin Kamara (66/1), also pop up. But later on, there’s another notable Bills player.
Wide receiver Stefon Diggs is among a group of five players receiving 150/1 odds to take home the MVP award. Those were the longest odds passed down. The best odds among wide receivers landed with the Packers’ Devante Adams at 100/1.
