In her 2021-22 season debut, Jordan Horston led the Tennessee’s women’s basketball team to victory on the road Friday.

Horston, a junior guard, who missed the Lady Vols’ season opener against Southern Illinois Wednesday, had a double-double in No. 15 Tennessee’s 49-41 victory over Central Florida at CFE Arena in Orlando.

Horston scored 14 points and recorded 11 rebounds for the Lady Vols. She started and played 30 minutes in her season debut and was the only player to post double figures in the scoring column for UT (2-0).

Sara Puckett and Tess Darby scored eight points each for the Lady Vols, who led 26-14 at halftime.

Keyen Green scored seven points, while Alexus Dye finished with five points and eight rebounds against the Golden Knights (1-1).

UCF’s Diamond Battles had 21 points to lead all scorers.
