Jordan Binnington spent the 2018-19 season surprising unassuming shooters, and now he’s sneaking up on his biggest fans.
A Binnington fan made a card for the St. Louis Blues goaltender, and asked his mother to deliver it.
Unbeknownst to the young man, Binnington was there in person during his day with the Stanley Cup, bringing the trophy to Toronto, and delivering a moment this kid won’t soon forget.

Binnington broke onto the scene last year, commandeering the Blues to an in-season worst-to-first finish, and was instrumental in his team’s Stanley Cup run. The fan in question has been supporting Binnington since his time with the OHL’s Owen Sound Attack, so it’s a well-deserved moment for both of them as the Cup makes its rounds on a world tour.
