Jordan Beck was selected by Colorado (No. 38 overall) in the 2022 Major League Baseball draft.

He was selected after playing for Tennessee in 2022.

Tennessee (57-9, 25-5 SEC) won the Southeastern Conference East division for the second consecutive season, the league regular-season and tournament championships in 2022.

The Vols were a No. 1 overall national seed in the NCAA Tournament, winning the Knoxville regional and advancing to the Knoxville super regional.

Beck was assigned to ACL Rockies of the Arizona Complex League Aug. 4. ACL Rockies advanced to the ACL championship series against ACL Giants Black.

Beck was assigned to the Fresno Grizzlies in the California League Aug. 30. Fresno played in the California League championship series against Lake Elsinore.
