Ronda Rousey won’t be the only UFC fighter to take her talents to WWE. UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones hasn’t taken that step yet, but he believes working with WWE in the future is “inevitable,” according to Sports Illustrated.

The 32-year-old Jones is coming off a tough victory against Dominick Reyes at UFC 247. While that fight shows Jones still has plenty left in the tank, there could come a day where Jones is no longer able to find a worthy opponent in the Octagon.

If that happens, Jones would be on board with heading over to WWE.

“I think it’s inevitable,” said Jones. “I’ve always respected WWE, and I feel like the sports can be so similar.”

It wouldn’t be a stretch for Jones. A number of mixed-martial artists have made the jump to WWE over the years. Brock Lesnar, Rousey and Ken Shamrock are among the fighters who have experienced success in both worlds.

While Jones is up for the challenge, he doesn’t necessarily view WWE as a permanent destination for him. Jones mentioned he would be happy just appearing “as a special guest.”

So, if you see Jones sitting ringside at an upcoming WWE event, keep that in mind. And try not to act surprised when he interferes in a match, starting a feud with one of the most prominent wrestlers in the business.
