James Harden cleared to play, John Wall and & DeMarcus Cousins OUT vs. Blazers originally appeared on NBC Sports Northwest

The Houston Rockets will be enter Saturday night's game vs. the Trail Blazers shorthanded. 

Sure, it appears their superstar James Harden will be available following a $50k fine for violating COVID protocols, but the team as a whole is not out of the woods from positive COVID test results and others who are forced too quarantine due to contact tracing. 

Among those unavailable will be guard John Wall, big man DeMarcus Cousins and guard Eric Gordon. Back-up wing Ben McLemore and rookie forward Kenyon Martin Jr. both tested positive for COVID-19 this week.

The Rockets will enter Saturday's game at Moda Center with nine eligible players. The NBA requires eight players to be active. 

It will be Houston's first game.

Their season opener against the Oklahoma City Thunder was postponed due to their inability to have the necessary number of players available.

The Trail Blazers have not released an active/inactive report.
