Tennessee forward John Fulkerson has been named Southeastern Conference Co-Player of the Week.

Fulkerson, a super senior from Kingsport, Tennessee, had 24 points and 10 rebounds in the Vols’ 77-73 victory over Arizona on Dec. 22 at Thompson-Boling Arena. He also drew 13 fouls in the contest.

He shared the weekly award with Kentucky’s Oscar Tshiebwe.

Fulkerson’s performance against the Wildcats marks his seventh career double-double and second during the 2021-22 season.

Fulkerson needs 26 points to reach 1,000-points during his career with the Vols.

No. 19 Tennessee (9-2) plays at No. 10 Alabama (9-3) Wednesday. Tipoff is slated for 9 p.m. EST and the SEC matchup will be televised by ESPN2.
