What to look for: NDC earned its first win of the season last week with a 27-14 decision over Wheeling. QB Chris Brimm was solid with 264 yards on 15 of 29 passing and a 64-yard TD to Napoleon Harris. ... The Falcons are stretched thin at wide receiver as starters Davis Patterson and Tyshawn Lighty were out last week. Harris stepped up with six catches for 121 yards.

Baldwin Wallace at John Carroll

Records: BW 1-1, JCU 0-1

What to look for: The Blue Streaks moved the ball in their season-opening loss at Washington & Jefferson with 430 yards but four turnovers did them in during the 35-26 loss. Included in those mistakes was a pick-six thrown by QB Joe Collins. ... An X-factor for JCU could be receiver/kick returner Tyler Mintz of Kenston. The Dayton transfer was big in his JCU debut with three catches for 75 yards and a 45-yard TD. He also had 154 yards on returns (134 on four kickoffs, 20 on a punt return). ... BW has relied heavily on its running game through two games with standout Jon Murray Jr., who has 267 yards. ... The Yellow Jackets have played two QBs to start the season. Joey Marousek started the first game, but Reese Warner relieved him last week in a 13-12 win at Wilmington.

What to look for: The Storm got its first victory under first-year coach D.J. Boldin with a 26-21 win at Kentucky Wesleyan on Sept. 10. LEC built a 26-7 lead in the fourth quarter before allowing two late TDs. ... The Storm defense gave up 393 yards passing and 499 total yards to Kentucky Wesleyan. ... Linebacker-turned-running back Rafael Jones has been solid the first two games for the Storm. He's rushed for 199 yards and scored five TDs, with seven receptions for 57 yards.

What to look for: The Spartans won at Waynesburg, 45-31, for their first victory of the season with 470 yards of offense. ... Starting QB Drew Saxton was 21 of 27 passing for 189 yards and scored three TDs on short runs. Backup QB Ian Kipp of Mentor was again effective in relief. Kipp threw a 70-yard TD on his only attempt of the game, and added 46 rushing yards on seven carries. ... W&J started the season with a 35-26 home win against John Carroll, then rolled at St. Vincent, 52-21. ... It's the Presidents' Athletic Conference opener for the Spartans.
