John Calipari's daughters roasted him on Twitter for his bad decorating style

Coach John Calipari knows how to set himself up for a TV interview. His University of Kentucky Wildcats earned a No. 2 seeding in the NCAA tournament, and he did his post-announcement interview with ESPN from a room completely decorated with the jerseys of his former star players.

You can see jerseys for DeMarcus Cousins, John Wall and Anthony Davis wrapped in plastic, just sitting behind him like they were set up specifically for that interview.

According to Calipari’s daughters, Erin and Megan, the jerseys weren’t put there for the interview. That’s just what that room looks like all the time.

And the basement isn’t the only room adorned with pictures or mementos of Calipari’s past teams. Apparently the living room also has a lot of UK gear, and Erin has some thoughts.

Coach may want to examine his decorating style once the tournament is over, considering how badly his daughters roasted him on Twitter (not to mention the “they are his favorite kids” hashtag, which: yikes).

Calipari’s interview didn’t just inspire his daughters to roast him, but one of his fellow coaches as well. Calipari’s a fan of shows about Alaska, and closed out his interview by saying that he tells his players not to waste their time watching other games during the tournament. Calipari said that instead, he watches shows about Alaska (like “Alaska Off the Grid”), which he’s been known to do in the past.

Gonzaga coach Mark Few was interviewed right after Calipari, and he took a playful shot at Calipari’s love of Alaska TV even before he talked about his own team.

“Calipari has no shot in Alaska, OK? I go up there fishing all the time, he couldn’t last an hour in Alaska. He and I are very good friends ... he has no shot in Alaska. He’s a heck of a coach, but no chance.”

Few threw down the Alaska survival gauntlet, and Calipari had to pick it up. He responded on Monday morning with a tweet for the ages.

“Scaring Bears. Pooping in the woods.” John Calipari knows what Alaskan survival is really about.

And yet Megan wasn’t done roasting her pops.
