Joey Votto's 'Griddy' dance before Reds-D'backs inspired by young fan's TikTok request
Cincinnati Reds first baseman Joey Votto is nothing if not a crowd-pleaser.
A young girl displayed a sign behind the dugout before Monday night's between the Reds and Diamondbacks game in Arizona - a 5-4 Cincinnati win - that read, "Joey Votto, will you make a TikTok with me?"
Bally Sports Ohio's Jim Day reported that the 12-year-old fan from Phoenix collaborated with Votto, who delivered a "Griddy" dance that would make Bengals receiver Ja'Marr Chase proud.
Votto recently joined TikTok this season and has seen many of his posts go viral.
