Joel Embiid puts Jarrett Allen on poster with incredible dunk
Philadelphia 76ers star Joel Embiid delivered one of the best dunks of the NBA season on Saturday night against the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Embiid was already at the free-throw line after getting fouled hard by Cleveland’s Jarrett Allen. Embiid hit the first free throw, but missed the second. Thanks to an effort play by Philly’s Georges Niang, the ball found its way back to Embiid off the miss.
Embiid collected a pass from Niang near the free-throw line and took off toward the rim with a full head of steam. The only thing in his way was the 6-foot-10, 243-pound Allen.
Embiid put him on a poster.

This angle of Embiid’s dunk was even better.

My goodness.
Embiid is currently the betting favorite to win MVP and plays like that certainly won’t hurt his case. Or games like that: He finished with 40 points, 14 rebounds and 10 assists in Philly's 103-93 win.
And soon he’ll have a former MVP, James Harden, playing alongside him.
