Jimmy Garoppolo ruled out vs. Dolphins
The 49ers downgraded quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo from questionable to out for Sunday’s game against he Dolphins.
Garoppolo left the contest after the 49ers’ first offensive series when he had his left ankle landed on. He was originally listed as questionable to return with ankle injury, but the club ruled him out with a foot injury.
Seventh-round rookie Brock Purdy stepped in to replace him.
There’s no word on the extent of Garoppolo’s injury.
