Jimmies women's hockey lose 1-0 to Minot State in WMCH tourney

Feb. 22—LYNCHBURG, Va. — The University of Jamestown women's hockey team's goalie Lilah Drew made 46 saves on 47 shots but the one she let up proved to be the difference in a 1-0 loss to Minot State University on Thursday, Feb. 22, at the LaHaye Ice Center.

The only goal of the game was scored by the Beavers' Kaitlyn Snyder on the power play at the 7:36 mark of the second period.

In net, the Beavers turned to Hailey Biever who had saved all 17 shots that she faced.

The Jimmies return to the ice at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 23, when they take on McKendree University.
