Jets WR Breshad Perriman is questionable to return to the game against the 49ers on Sunday with an ankle injury.
The last thing the Jets need is an injury to its wideouts that are already decimated. Jamison Crowder was the latest before the game, and Denzel Mims still hasn't made his NFL debut with a hamstring injury.
Perriman was also dealing with a knee injury during training camp.
The only wide receivers Sam Darnold can work with now are Josh Malone, Chris Hogan and Braxton Berrios. That isn't what head coach Adam Gase wants to see, but he might have to deal with it for the rest of the game if Perriman can't return.
